You can access a good faith estimate on request when engaging in services. In addition, you have the right to a good faith estimate of the cost of services under the federal No Surprises Act. You'll have access to that before you receive any services or are billed. Most of the time, it is impossible to predict how many sessions you will need. We determine this in collaboration after the initial intake assessment and during your sessions. It also depends on your progress, which is partly influenced by your work and new things that may come up. You can also end services at any point in line with your consent to services.
The No Surprises Law states that you may start a dispute if the actual charges are significantly higher than the good faith estimates, like if you're charged $500 more than the estimated session cost or for the total estimate provided. However, in this setting, it's unlikely for this to happen since all actual charges per session are paid at the time of service. For more information, click here.
