Individual therapy

If you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you, you’re not alone. Our individual therapy is a collaborative and deeply supportive process that helps you reconnect with your body, gain sense of safety, and move toward lasting healing.

We know that trauma, stress, and systemic pressure shape how we show up in the world and that healing requires more than just talk. It asks for care, curiosity, and a space where your full self is welcomed.

At Tides Center for Wellness, therapy is paced with intention and grounded in respect for your story. Together, you and your therapist will work to:

  • Gently attune to your nervous system and cultivate safety from the inside out

  • Identify what’s been held in the body like grief, fear, strength, or resilience, and process it at a pace that honors your capacity

  • Reconnect with parts of yourself that have been pushed aside, dismissed, or overwhelmed

  • Clarify what healing looks like for you, and begin to move toward it

Sessions are offered via secure telehealth to clients across Louisiana and Mississippi. For some, healing sessions may also take place sitting under a tree or walking a quiet path. Discuss with your therapist about sessions in natural settings like local parks or in-office.

If you’re longing for grounded support, embodied healing, and a therapist who holds your story with care and accountability, we invite you to begin here.

Social Justice Pricing

We recognize that access to mental health care is shaped by intergenerational oppression, structural racism, ableism, and economic injustice. Our pricing structure is designed to offer options that honor each person’s lived experience and financial reality while also sustaining our ability to provide deeply attuned, high-quality care.

1.Accessible Rate

This tier is available to those with limited financial resources, including individuals who:

  • Are disabled and navigating barriers to work, benefits, or medical cost

  • Are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, and/or from communities systemically denied access to healthcare and wealth

  • Are students, caregivers, underemployed, or facing ongoing financial hardship

Choosing this rate means you are receiving support from our community. We’re honored to support your healing.

2.    Standard Rate

This is our baseline rate and reflects the true cost of sustaining our services, including therapist compensation, administrative support, and operating expenses.

If you are consistently able to meet your basic needs, access healthcare, and pay for therapy without significant financial strain, this may be the appropriate tier for you.

3.Solidarity Rate

This tier helps subsidize reduced-fee sessions for others in our community, especially disabled, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ folks.

If you hold economic privilege, access to generational wealth, or feel called to support more accessible care for others, we invite you to select this tier in the spirit of community support and economic justice.
