Emily Madeira, LMSW (she/they)

As a somatic therapist, I help individuals explore and strengthen their mind-body connection, allowing them to feel more alive and present in their bodies and in their lives. I believe that when we become more attuned to both our conscious and subconscious experiences, we unlock a deeper sense of vitality and self-awareness.

My approach is rooted in the belief that healing is not about "fixing" people but creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can simply be. In my therapeutic practice, you are accepted as you are, with all the complexities of your experiences. My role is to support you in reconnecting with your body, your emotions, and your inner wisdom.

For those interested, I also integrate elements of play and gentle movement into our sessions, offering tools that can foster expression, release, and joy. Through these practices, clients often find new ways to embody their feelings, deepen their self-awareness, and bring lightness into their healing journey.

Whether you come seeking relief from difficult things you may be experiencing or a deeper connection to your true self, the work we do together will honor your unique path. The ultimate goal is to help you feel more grounded, free, and in touch with the fullness of who you are.
